I had the honor to speak with and attend the Governmental Relations Committee meeting with my state representative, State Representative Ed Thompson. He actually remembered me from the days when he sold me insurance. His agents always offer customers a can of coke when you come to his insurance office. Small things matter in business!
Today, he took a photo with me. More important, I learned he attends meetings and provides very detailed updates to the community he represents. He has been a member of Pearland School Board and Pearland City Council. He has a wealth of wisdom. I look forward to learning from him as I serve on the Governmental Relations Committee with the Pearland Chamber of Commerce.
