I was nervous to enter the unknown territory but God had a friendly face immediately greet me as I walked in the luncheon. Kevin Murphy, Vice President & General Counsel at Triad Retail Construction,Inc was fantastic. Although Kevin has an awesome job and serves on the Board of Directors of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce ( I did not that fact until I saw him sitting at the table with other Board Members), he is Darcy Bryan-Wilson’ husband in my world.
I have known Kevin and his family for years. I supported him as he ran for State Representative for Brazoria County in 2008. I was serving as a Precinct Chair then. I am still a Brazoria County Precinct Chair today. His wife, Darcy Bryan-Wilson, is a community leader and power mom like myself. Kevin gave me directions and made Novella Bean and me feel at home and welcomed. Rochelle, Chamber Ambassador, also gave me a hug and saved us a seat at her table. I was so happy God had those two in the place.
